The month of March has been absolute craziness! From the major snow storm, losing power for a week, getting my oldest daughter ready for her trip to Florida and trying to get packed up to move into a new house it has become quite stressful and hectic. I am so glad that spring break starts at the end of this week because trying to keep up with all of the kids homework and after school activities has been a challenge as well. Don't get me wrong, it is all very exciting and will be very rewarding but I will be very happy when it is all over and life will get back to something close to normal. Living out of boxes and some what organized chaos is not how I function best but it will all be over soon and a new chapter will begin.
This will be the first time my husband and I have moved since we have had kids. We have moved several times when it was just the two of us but never have we moved since we have had kids. All I have to say is where did all the junk come from?? I can't believe how much stuff we have accumulated over the years! Some of it must have had babies because I just can't believe all of the stuff we have crammed into this old house. It will be one heck of a garage sale once everything is all sorted out. It is just crazy. I will admit that I have been extremely close to calling the garbage company for a dumpster and just loading it up and hauling it all to the dump but that would really be a big waste. We have some pretty nice stuff....just a lot of it. I guess it is time to start sorting and organizing and weeding things out that we just don't need. Talk about some spring cleaning!!
So, as the month of March trudges on so do we. I can only imagine that the rest of this month is only going to get more crazy as our official move in date fast approaches. It is such an exciting time and I am so thankful and feel so blessed not only for our new home but for having such an awesome family. I thank God everyday for them and just can't believe how great they are. This is going to be a great new chapter in all of our lives and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds!
