I have totally been neglecting my blog lately. It seems like every time I have a free minute to sit down and write something a different something always gets in the way. It never fails with younger kids that life will inevitably get in the way and before you know it months have gone by without a single paragraph written.
So what news do I have to report on??? It's been a pretty interesting start to the year. This winter was the first time that Jason has been laid off from his job which we both were scared to have happen. It turned out to be a pretty cool experience and we actually made it through still intact and our relationship grew closer because of it. I wouldn't want him to get laid off every winter BUT at least now I know it is something that can be survived. On a happy note......this week he was called back to work full time! Yippy!
My girls are anxiously awaiting summer vacation. They only have 6 weeks left of school. It won't get here fast enough. They are ready to have some fun in the sun and play on the beach. They have done such an awesome job in school and can't wait to just have some fun. Jason and I are planning a special weekend for them at a secret location which will absolutely blow the girls minds. They won't know where we are going until we get there. All I can say is I will be taking lots of pictures and it's going to be a lot of fun!
As for Tyler Rae's Boutique........I have been pretty neglectful of my store too. I need to get my groove back and start giving that baby a little attention. I haven't even come close to my sales goals so far this year. On a cool note I was contacted by a local charity organization and asked to donate some of my items which I did. It was for Child and Family Services for the TC area. It was for a silent auction they will be doing in May. I also made contact with a few local stores about carrying some of my items and have had some success. I'll have to write more about that later after some more time has passed to see how everything was received and if I had some good sales from it. I'm anticipating being able to give a good report. Only time will tell.
Well, I think that is about all I have to catch up on as of right now. I will definitely be paying more attention to my blog and adding a lot of cool articles and content so check back often to see what's new!
