Well, it finally happened. I had to break down and buy myself a new sewing machine. The one that I had I broke beyond repair and it was time for it to go off to the sewing machine after world. Now when I say I broke it beyond repair I am not kidding. I literally broke the steal casings that house the bobbin and the needle housing. It was a literal catastrophe as far as sewing machine accidents go and it would have cost way more to fix and repair than just to purchase another one SOOOO off to the store I went.
I had done my research and had gone to scout out which machine was calling out to me. I didn't need one with all of the electronic gizzmos and gadgets or one that could literally sew without me. No, I needed a good work horse basic sewing machine that would sew great and be reliable and trouble free. I narrowed it down to two machines and in the end I went with a Singer 1507WC. It is a very basic sewing machine with a few stitch patterns available and has a reputation of being reliable. So, I bought it and came home with much excitement. I took it out of the box and was sewing in 5 minutes. It was amazingly easy to set up. Super quiet and sewed like a dream. I am so very happy and wonder why I held onto my clanking nightmare for so long before getting a new one. It so much nicer to sew now and also when I do sew I don't have to send out sound warnings to the neighbors and my family anymore! I guess you could say I would recommend this sewing machine especially if you are looking for a basic reliable good work horse machine. It won't disappoint. Here's a product link to the sewing machine.
