New Eco Friendly Product Line

It has been a super busy week here in good ole traverse city. At our house we just celebrated my oldest daughter Tyler's 8th birthday and had a big party for her with lots of family and friends. It was so much fun and really great to see the family! Of course our weekend didn't go without incident. My youngest daughter stepped on a nail about 45 minutes before the birthday party was to start and my father in law cut his hand really bad and had to get stitches! There has to be a law some where that states you can only have one emergency room visit per holiday weekend! Any how, even with these mishaps we still had a great weekend with some beautiful weather!

This week I started listing a new product line in my Etsy shop. Eco Friendly Reusable Snack Sacks! These things work great and are good for the environment too! It helps keep 1000's of little plastic bags from heading to the land fills and makes a really cute lunch set! Here are a few that I just listed. I will be listing more throughout the week.

Spring Has Sprung!

I just love this time of year! It's heading into summer, the weather keeps getting warmer and better with each passing week and the spring flowers are in full bloom! My lilacs are getting ready to blossom and my apple trees are in full bloom right now and smell divine! It's days like this that inspire me to dig deeper into my creative gene pool and come up with something really fantastic. Not to say that this will be an easy task. There is so much activity going on right now that finding the time to sit down and work on some of these things will be almost impossible....ALMOST! I'm not sure what direction this creative process will take me in but I will be sure to share it here when it does happen.

As I said, it has been a very busy couple of weeks so I wasn't able to get a whole lot of new things listed in my shop this week and last but here is a preview of what was just listed. Enjoy!

I am working on a few projects right now in between getting ready for Tyler's big birthday bash (she is turning 8 tomorrow)and trying to get ready for family that is coming to stay with us over the Memorial Weekend. We shall see how productive this week ends up! :)

It's all about the pampering!

Wow! I can't believe it is already May! The kids will be out of school in about a month and summer will officially start! I will admit I have been waiting a long time for the beginning of nice weather and the end of snow and winter. This winter was long and drawn out this year, so to see nice weather and sunshine is the best thing ever! :)

I have spent the last month or so trying to revamp my etsy shop with some new items and some new pictures and so far the result has been fairly good. I added a whole bunch of the "Spa Collection" hand knit wash cloths. Lots of fun colors to choose from and of course if you don't see the colors you like a custom order can be arranged.
