April Showers Bring May Flowers

Spring has finally arrived after such a long winter. The spring rains are starting to move in and the snow is finally melting away. It always seems that every year at this time I seem to get a renewed since of being. My creativity seems to spark back up, my mood lightens and my spirits rise. There is always so much to do. I love to plant flowers and garden so I always have plenty of work to do there. Just being able to get outside and do something besides shoveling snow is refreshing enough for me. The spring rains come and wash away all of the dirt and grime and grass starts to pop up and flowers start to bloom. I can't wait until the trees start to bloom and the leaves start to come back! Like I said, it has been a long winter. Glad to see that spring is back!

This week I was working on a new set of spa collection facial cloths. They have a variety of uses which including spa and bath, kitchen and dishes or just about anything you can think of. I think some time in the future I might add in some hand made soap and sell them as spa kits but for now I am just selling the cloths as their own collection. Here are a couple sets that I worked on this week:

Busy Bee Lies Dorment

I had a lazy week. I was unmotivated and just plain tuckered out. The winter blahs have really taken their toll on me and I am in serious need of some sunshine. I never realized just how much having too little sunshine can affect a person until you reach mid March and you would give just about anything just for 5-10 minutes of pure sunshine. Hope springs eternal though and I know that spring is really on it's way. Over the next couple of weeks the mountains of snow will slowly melt away and I will actually be able to see some green again! Can't wait!

All was not totally lost this week. I did complete one scarf and also talked with a local shop owner about doing some consignment in their brick and mortar store. I am very excited about that possibility. I hope the meeting goes well and that I will now also have some of my items in a local store. Very cool!

Here is my latest creation that I worked on this week. I am hoping to have more to list maybe by the weekend.

Have a great weekend and keep creating!
